What changed
The Revolio Android app is no longer an app with its own look. It is now the official extension of the dashboard you already use on your computer. Same colour system, same components, same language.
Neutral colours, no noise. Backgrounds, surfaces and borders follow the real dashboard palette: white, neutral grey and hairlines. Colour no longer sits everywhere; it means one thing only: state. Repair completed, waiting for parts, cancelled — you read the status at a glance.
Black primary, focus on what matters. Primary actions are black, secondary actions are outlined, and nothing competes for your attention. You see first the thing you need to decide.
Consistent radii and type. One radius, one type scale, one touch target size across the app. There is no longer a screen that looks different from the one next to it.
Navigation with labels
The bottom bar now has five destinations with a label under the icon: Home, Repairs, Clients, Agenda and More. Before they were five unlabelled icons, which forced you to guess.
What was an action rather than a destination — the scanner, the Lemar assistant, messages, parts, online orders, point of sale and calls — moved to More, with a name and an icon, ready when you are.
Lists you can actually read
The repairs list is no longer a pile of separate cards. It is now a list with hairline separators, like the rows of a table. The filters show the real process states (received, in diagnosis, waiting for parts, in repair, testing, completed, delivered) instead of old labels that no longer matched anything.
States that do not leave you stuck
When a list fails to load, the app no longer shows a blank screen with no explanation. There is now an error state with a retry button, an empty state that tells you what to do next, and a notice when the connection fails. Success messages stopped being toasts that vanish and became consistent notices.
Details you will notice
- Complete dark mode: dark mode is no longer partial. Dialogs, fields, checkboxes and buttons follow your choice, and the status bar follows with it.
- The keyboard never covers what you are typing: the create-repair assistant and the password field respect the keyboard.
- Bigger touch targets: every button and actionable icon is now at least 48 dp, and all navigation icons are announced correctly by screen readers.
- Consistent headers: every screen has the same header, with the same title, subtitle and back action.
How to test it
- Open the app and walk through login, the dashboard, the repairs list and a repair sheet.
- Switch between light and dark theme and confirm dialogs, fields and buttons follow.
- Create a repair with the keyboard open and confirm the fields and the next button stay visible.
- Go offline and reload the list: you should get a notice with a retry option, not an empty screen.
- Set the system font to its largest size and confirm the text stays legible and nothing is cut off.
